On the last day of 2025, Samsung released a press release with an interesting initiative to kick off 2026: a second-hand super value promotion for those looking to upgrade to a new flagship phone from the Samsung Galaxy range.
The promotion, active from January 2 to February 1, 2026, will allow you to get a very high price of up to 125 euros on used equipment to buy the flagship of the new generation, traditional or foldable, of the South Korean group at the points of sale of the largest retailer of consumer electronics.Let's find out all the details.
Samsung launched 2026 with an interesting proposition
As initially predicted, Samsung wants to open 2026 with a promotion exclusively for customers looking to use a used smartphone to buy one of the latest and highest-performing models in the Samsung Galaxy lineup.
From January 2 to February 1, 2026, in Italy's leading electronic retailers (MediaWorld, Unieuro, Euronics, Trony and Professional), a second product promotion is available that allows you to benefit up to 125 euros by shopping on your old phone.
Before talking about the participating devices, we would like to point out that the South Korean giant claims to have made switching from an old smartphone to a new one much easier with Smart Switch, a proprietary solution that allows the transfer of data, applications and settings through a guided process.
€125 great value on the latest Samsung Galaxy S flagships
The devices that allow you to get a higher value are the main models of the Galaxy S25 range: we are talking about the Samsung Galaxy S25 +, Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Edge;on all three, it is possible to get 125 euros of excellent valuation on used vehicles.
All three models revolve around Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy SoC, combine 12GB of RAM and at least 256GB of storage, and offer the potential of diverse artificial intelligence.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is the flagship of the range and the only one to offer a quad rear camera (with a 200MP main sensor) and a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with anti-reflection treatment and S Pen support.
The Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Edge feature an ultra-crisp 6.7-inch screen that's super smooth and bright.While the former has a triple camera setup (50MP main with OIS, 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and 12MP ultra-wide), the latter offers a dual camera (200MP main and 12MP wide-angle).

First of all, the premium folding model has a book-like design and, when opened, it has an 8-inch dynamic AMOLED 2x display that supports multimedia content and productivity (especially thanks to its excellent multitasking capabilities).When closed, the smartphone is very thin and thick, like a conventional solution, and the 6.5-inch panel is very convenient.No lack of power (here's the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy) or other super-impressive specs.
The other two are foldable, compact clamshells that when open look like traditional smartphones (with a 6.9-inch display) but disappear into our pockets when closed.The Galaxy Z Flip7 also offers a very large external display (4.1 inches), which is significantly larger than the Flip7 FE.Then we have an interesting camera, the ability to call Galaxy AI even when the smartphone is turned off, and more than enough power thanks to the Exynos 2500 (in Galaxy Z Flip7) and Exynos 2400 (in Galaxy Z Flip7 FE) chips.

On the latest model of the Galaxy S25 range, the South Korean giant offers 75 euros of excellent value on the used one but also the possibility to buy the 256 GB version at the price of the 128 GB one: we are talking about 769 euros instead of 829 euros.
Overall, the Galaxy S25 FE is a model in the Galaxy S range that aims to offer the full Galaxy experience at a more accessible price.It acts as a link between the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S25+, carrying the Exynos 2400 SoC (and many specifications) from the 2024 model.Compared to its predecessor, it is refined and optimized from an aesthetic point of view (smaller footprint, thinner, lighter).The Galaxy S25+ gets a 4,900mAh battery and support for 45W wired charging.
